Massandra White Muscat 2008: The Massandra winery was constructed in the 1890s to supply Livadia, the summer palace of the last Russian Tsar, Nicholas II. This attractive wine is amber-coloured with aromas of honey, apricot, butterscotch and spice. The palate offers more honey, ripe peach, cinnamon and caramel notes, with good acidity and a lengthy finish. Pair it with fruit salad, poached pears, or salty blue cheeses and walnut bread.
